When you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and Google profile information as provided by Google. We use this solely to create and manage your Revu Genie account.

When you register or are onboarded as a business, we collect your business name, location, industry, owner name, phone number, and other profile details you provide.

c) Customer Feedback and Review Session Data

When your customers use the Revu Genie review flow, we collect session data including service selection, ratings, optional feedback messages, and interaction events. Customer data is tied to your business account and is used to generate review drafts and private feedback reports.

d) Usage and Technical Data

We collect standard technical data including browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited, and session duration. This helps us maintain platform performance and security.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your business account and subscription.
• To provide the review drafting and feedback collection features.
• To send transactional emails such as invite links and account notifications.
• To monitor platform usage, fix bugs, and improve features.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use customer review session data for advertising purposes.

3. How We Protect Your Data

All data is stored in a secure cloud database hosted by Supabase with row-level security (RLS) policies. This ensures that each business can only access its own data. All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate the platform:

• Supabase — database, authentication backend, and file storage.
• Google OAuth — sign-in authentication for business accounts.
• Vercel — cloud hosting and content delivery.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for invites and notifications.
• Google Maps Platform — business location search for connecting Google Business profiles.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Review session data is retained to provide usage analytics and feedback history. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We use session cookies to keep you signed in. These are essential for the platform to function and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
